During PERFORM2Scale, African organisations in each state are paired with partners from Europe who support them in the delivery of the management strengthening intervention.

In Ghana, that partnership is between the School of Public Health at University of Ghana and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute

Recent progress

24.6.19 - MSI workshop 1 with district group 2 (DG2), involving staff from Abuakwa South, Ayensuano and Lower Manya Krobo districts, is completed and went really well. Photos on twitter.

18.06.19 - A representative from KIT recently visited the Ghana team to collect data for the process evaluation aspect of PERFORM2Scale. Also, the country team is about to deliver workshop 1 of DG 2 (district group 2) with the follow-up second workshop due in July.

25.04.19 - The Ghana team from the School of Public Health in Accra recently hosted the annual Consortium Workshop. During this week, team members from all of the partners gathered to take stock of where we are with regard to the implementation of the Management Strengthening Intervention at district level; the process of scale-up of the intervention; and the research activities to develop new knowledge in both these areas.  It was a really productive week that the whole PERFORM2Scale team got a lot from. This was followed by a week's writing workshop when Ghana and Swiss team members refined their writing skills, focusing on writing better research papers, policy briefs and blog posts. Lots of new skills were learnt with the results to appear on this site soon. Many of the tweets from that fortnight are here.
